The StudioPress eleven40 theme comes with a custom logo in the left hand corner section of your header. I have notice a lot of people asking how can I change the orange logo with my own custom logo.
The most simply way to accomplish this is to access the custom logo from your cpanel hosting account. Here are a few easy steps you can use to change your eleven40 theme logo.
Step one :: First locate the ( wp.content folder )
Step two :: Them you need to locate the (child theme ) folder
Step three :: Now we need to find the ( eleven40 folder )
Step four :: Navigate to the ( image folder )
Before you make any changes to your logo.png have your custom logo ready to replace the old one.
Upload your new logo and place it in the same folder were the ( logo.png ) is located in the image folder.
Make sure your new logo is the same dimensions as the old one this will make it much easier to align it when you install it.
After you have completed the above simply rename the old logo to logo1.png, or what ever you like, I prefer logo1.png because it’s much easier to rename it if you ever want to revert back to the old one.
Find the new logo you just uploaded and rename it to ( logo.png ) by doing this you will not have to do any editing in your style-sheet.css because it will simply insert the new logo into the same place as the old one was with the same name and everything.
NOTE :: I am sure this method will work with a number of StudioPress’s themes if you keep the same dimensions. This is just a quick way of changing an existing logo and adding your own custom one with out doing any real editing.
