After you’ve chosen a StudioPress theme, it is recommended that you also purchase the Genesis framework, here’s why. The Studiopress themes are fully customized and has everything you need, but! The Genesis framework gives you much more options, and unlimited add-on features that you would not get with just a theme. Here’s why
Welcome email from StudioPress ::
When you have completed your purchase from StudioPress for your theme andGenesis framework, you will receive a welcome email from StudioPress, with instructions and the download links you’ll need to begin installing your software.
The first thing you should have done after buying your new theme and the Genesis framework is download both items to your computer.
Step-one, create a folder on your computer ::
I would suggest you create a folder on your computer and keep all your downloads from StudioPress in one folder for easy access and or if, something ever goes wrong with your current installation.
After you have your StudioPress themes and Framework, downloaded you’re ready to begin your installation.
Step-two, log-in to your WordPress.org ( Self hosting ) account ::
Log-in into your WordPress.org account by entering your user name and password which was given to you at signup.
Step-three, Go to the Dashboard ::
Click on the Appearance tab, and then choose themes.
Step-four, Click on install theme ::
Once you’re in the theme section, click on install theme.
Step-five click on the upload tab ::
In the lower left hand side you will see the upload tab, click on it.
select ‘Upload’. Click ‘Choose File’ and select the StudioPress theme zipfile, then click install.
Step-six Live preview for your themes ::
After you’ve uploaded you will have the option to preview your theme before you even install it, choose any of the options you see in your upload panel, if you like what you see just click activate them and your install will be complete.
Step- seven Installing the Genesis framework ::
Ok now that you’ve installed your StudioPress theme, you’re ready to Install the Genesis framework for your WordPress website, let’s move on.
Locate the Genesis framework zip file that you downloaded with your purchase. Choose file, click on the Genesis framework software file on your computer, then click install, activate and your all done.
